Community Supported Agriculture
Solidarity Farming
In a Community Supported Agriculture program (CSA), community members become partners in the farm. Members pay up-front for a weekly share of the harvest. This capital investment enables the farmer to purchase seed and amendments and provides much needed cash flow at the beginning of the season. Returns come in the form of neatly packed, fresh produce throughout the main growing season.
For our CSA program, the farmer will choose the best of what’s coming in each week. We are seeking to provide exceptionally flavorful and nutritious produce. Over the course of the season, there will likely be one or two vegetables you are less familiar with and there will definitely be lots of seasonal favorites.
We will harvest and pack a re-usable box to be picked up at one of several convenient drop spots, or, for those of you near our home-base in the Hethwood- Foxridge neighborhood, I can deliver your share to your doorstep for an additional $5.
We have been working all year to manage the weeds and establish a productive garden. Now, looking at our second year in production, we are confident we can deliver the goods each week to a small membership.
If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfill our end of the bargain during the regular growing season, we will simply extend the offering into the winter months, meaning you would continue to receive a box until we met the value of the share.

Note: We are gradually adding perennial fruit-bearing crops to our garden. In time, we intend to offer fruits like apples and berries.
We are excited to announce that this fall, we will be reviving our popular gourmet mushroom operation. Formally known as Full Circle Fungi, we put this venture on hold a couple of years ago as we navigated big changes in work and family life. We are so pleased to offer delicious edible fungi to complement our vegetable crops.

WIthin 2 miles of the Hethwood neighborhood, we will bring your share to your doorstep for a $5 delivery fee.

Perhaps the box does not contain enough delicious vegetables for your hunger. Maybe your favorite seasonal fruit is abundant at this time and it beckons to be canned.
